Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 M)
Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our local representative. They will assist you with the necessary immigration procedures and transfer you to your hotel. Once settled, there will be a detailed briefing about the Everest Base Camp trek. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and acclimatize to the altitude. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding (2650M)
After breakfast, we will transfer to the domestic airport for a scenic flight to Lukla, the starting point for Everest Base Camp treks. The flight takes around 40 minutes, offering spectacular views of the Himalayan foothills (Please note: Flight schedules are subject to weather conditions). Upon arrival in Lukla, we will meet our Sherpa guides and porters and begin our trek. The trail descends from Lukla, following the Dudh Kosi River towards the village of Choblung in the Dudh Kosi Valley. The walk is pleasant, passing through pine forests and rhododendron-scented trails. We will reach the small village of Phakding where we will spend the night. Overnight in Phakding.
Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3440M)
Leaving Phakding after breakfast, we cross the Dudh Kosi suspension bridge and continue along the trail. The walk is relatively easy, with short uphill and downhill sections. Enjoy the beautiful views of Thermasarkhu (6608m) from the village of Benkar. We cross the long suspension bridge over the Bhote-Koshi River, a busy area filled with trekkers and porters. After a gradual climb, we reach Monjo, where we enter the Sagarmatha National Park. Our trekking permits will be checked here, and we continue to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region. Namche Bazaar (3440M)
Today is a rest and acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. We can explore the town and its surroundings or choose to hike to Thame, an old Sherpa village, or Khumjung village. Both options provide excellent acclimatization hikes with stunning views of Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks. We can also visit the National Park Headquarters, the museum, and the monastery. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of cafes, shops, bakeries, and restaurants in Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar - Tengboche (3870M)
After breakfast, we leave Namche Bazaar and hike uphill to Kyangjuma. Along the trail, we are rewarded with breathtaking views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and others. We descend to the Dudh Koshi River and then climb to Sanasa, a junction to Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp. From here, a steep trail leads us to the famous Tengboche Monastery, located against the backdrop of towering peaks. Overnight in Tengboche.
Tengboche (3870M) - Dingboche (4410M)
Today, we start our day with a descent to the Imja Valley, passing through Pangboche and climbing steeply to reach Dingboche. We traverse through Mani stone walls and small settlements, enjoying close-up views of Mt. Ama Dablam. The trail continues to Pheriche, and from there, we enter the Imja Valley. We climb up to Dingboche, a picturesque village with stunning mountain views. Overnight in Dingboche.
Dingboche (4410M)
Today is a free day in Dingboche for acclimatization. You can explore the area, hike to higher elevations, or rest and relax. Dingboche offers beautiful views of the surrounding peaks and is an ideal spot to prepare for the higher altitude trekking ahead. Overnight in Dingboche.
Dingboche (4410M) - Lobuche (4930M)
After breakfast, we continue our trek towards Lobuche. The trail takes us through the Khumbu Valley, ascending to Dughla and offering views of Chola Lake and Mt. Pumori. We cross a small wooden bridge and reach Dughla, where numerous memorials for climbers who lost their lives in the Everest region can be seen. We then hike up to Lobuche, enjoying the majestic peaks of Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal. Overnight in Lobuche.
Lobuche (4930M) - Everest Base Camp (5364M) - Gorakshep (5180M)
Today is a long and rewarding day as we trek to Everest Base Camp. The trail starts with a gradual walk to the valley and passes through rocky moraine dunes, icy-glacial ponds, and icebergs. After several hours of walking, we reach Gorakshep. From there, we continue towards Everest Base Camp, witnessing the Khumbu Icefall and enjoying the incredible surroundings. After spending time at the base camp, we return to Gorakshep for the night. Overnight in Gorakshep.
Gorakshep (5180M) - Kala Pattar (5545M) - Pheriche (4280M)
Early in the morning, we hike to Kala Pattar, a renowned viewpoint offering panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kantega, Thamserku, and more. After enjoying the stunning sunrise views, we descend back to Gorakshep and continue our trek to Pheriche. The trail takes us through beautiful landscapes, including moraine, valleys, and Sherpa settlements. Overnight in Pheriche.
Pheriche to Kyangjuma (3570M)
After breakfast, we continue our trek from Pheriche towards Kyangjuma. The trail passes through Tashinga and Sansa villages, offering spectacular views of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Thamserku, Lhotse, Everest, and other stunning peaks. We arrive at Kyangjuma, where we can rest and enjoy the serene surroundings. Overnight in Kyangjuma.
Kyangjuma (3570M) to Monjo (2840M)
After breakfast, we trek from Kyangjuma to Monjo. The trail takes us through beautiful forests, where we may encounter wildlife such as snow leopards, mountain goats, and colorful pheasants. We descend steeply to the Dudh Koshi River, crossing the river twice before reaching Monjo. Overnight in Monjo.
Monjo (2840M) - Lukla
Today is the last day of our trek. After breakfast, we descend from Monjo to Lukla. The trail passes through Phakding and Chauri Kharka, providing picturesque views along the way. Upon reaching Lukla, we can relax and celebrate the successful completion of our trek. Overnight in Lukla.
Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
After enjoying breakfast in Lukla, we will board a short 40-minute flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and freshen up. In the evening, you can explore the vibrant Thamel Bazaar for some last-minute souvenir shopping. As a final celebration of our journey, enjoy a farewell dinner accompanied by a traditional Nepali cultural program. Reflect on the successful completion of the trek and create lasting memories. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Departure from Kathmandu
Today marks the end of your incredible journey to Everest Base Camp. After breakfast, our representative will drop you off at the airport for your international flight back home. Depart with a sense of accomplishment and a treasure trove of memories from your Everest adventure.
