Itinerary
Arrival in Varanasi
Upon your afternoon arrival at Varanasi airport, you will be greeted by our representative. They will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Later in the evening, you will be taken to the Ganges River for a boat ride and to witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Dashashwamedh Ghat is a significant and visually stunning ghat situated close to the Vishwanath Temple. It is believed that Lord Brahma created this ghat to welcome Lord Shiva, and it is also associated with the Dasa-Ashwamedha Yajna. After the ceremony, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
Varanasi - Prayagraj Excursion
After an early breakfast, embark on a day trip to Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), located approximately 130 kilometers away from Varanasi. Prayagraj is renowned for its holy confluence, known as the Sangam, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Sarasvati rivers merge. Take a sacred dip in the Sangam and visit significant landmarks such as the Bada Hanuman Mandir, Akshayavat Tree (a revered banyan tree), and Anand Bhawan (the birthplace of India's first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru). After exploring Prayagraj, return to Varanasi for an overnight stay.
Varanasi Temple Tour and Sarnath Visit
Start your day early with a temple darshan (visit) in Varanasi. Visit the renowned Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Mandir, Kala Bhairov Mandir, Sankat Mochan Mandir, Durga Mandir, Tulsi Manas Mandir, and the esteemed Benaras Hindu University (BHU). After breakfast, proceed to Sarnath, the place where Gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment.
