Overview
Visit Dirang in Bhalukpong in the first few days of our 7day Tawang itinerary. Visit an apple orchard and orchid sanctuary in Durand and take a historical tour of Durand Castle. After a short stop in Durand, proceed to Tawang via the 4,00metre Sala Pass and Paradise Lake. Takea trip from Tawang to Bum la Pass to see the face of China from the border. Take pictures with Madhuri Lake and PTSO Lake before finishing your Tawang tour by car.Â
The 400-year old temple is a popular tourist destination in Tawang, as is the war memorial. After a nice walk in Tawang and spinning the prayer wheel, head to Bomdila for a good night out. Continue back to Guwahati via Tezpur.
