Itinerary

Arrival Kathmandu (1,300 M):

 

Arrival at Kathmandu Int'l airport, meet /Greet with local representative and transfer to hotel. Later, there will be a detailed briefing on the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. The rest of the day is at leisure. Remaining of the day will be free for own activities. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu - Nepalgunj:

Early morning, visit the Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu. The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. The temple is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. Later, we visit Guheshwori Shaktipith, is one of the revered holy temples in Kathmandu. This temple is dedicated to Adi Shakti. Thereafter, drive to the airport in Kathmandu to board your flight to Nepalgunj (450 mts). On arrival at Nepalgunj, proceed to your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure

Nepalgunj – Simikot:

This morning, drive to the airport to board your flight to Simikot (2950 mts). On arrival at Simikot, proceed to your hotel. Later, visit Shiva Mandir and get acclimatized to high altitude. The rest of the day is at leisure for leisure activities.

Simikot To Hilsa By Helicopter/Drive To Purang: This morning, board your helicopter from Simikot for a 30 minute flight to Hilsa. Arrive Hilsa and drive for 1 hour to reach Purang (3750 mts). The rest of the evening is at leisure.

Purang - Mansarovar 4558 M (Approx 90 Kms / 3 Hrs Drive):

 After breakfast drive to Holy Mansarovar Lake.Jeeps/Bus and trucks roll on the wide valley following rivers you can get the first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Mansarover. Hore, is a small village nearby Lake Mansarover. Holy-Mansarovar (At 14950-ft/ 4558m). The highest fresh water lake with turquoise complexion in the world. Holy Kailash Parbat, Mt. Gurula-Mandata, Lake Rashekshi are lie on its surrounding. The region is considered rich for gold and other mines, hot springs and hundreds of wild living creatures. Overnight in Manasarovar.

Mansarovar - Darchen (4,600 M):

Morning at leisure and after lunch drive to Darchen. Rest day spend at leisure.

Darchen- Dehra Phuk (5,000 M):

After Breakfast drive to Yamdwar and start the trek to Dehra Phuk (Walk 5-6 Hours). This is the first day of the Kailash Parikrama (Kora). It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky makes you feel the Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessings to you It takes almost 7 hrs to complete 18 km trail. Overnight in Dehraphuk

Dehra Phuk – Zutul Phuk (4790 M):

Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage Yatra with Dolma-La (pass) of 18600ft between two valleys: Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal, here there is the symbolical death, Pilgrimages leave the Old clothes, strand of hair or a drop of Blood in hope, that terrible Yamraja (The master of death) seeing these signs and will allow the Yatries (travelers) to be born in spirit to pass Dolma- La. The pass associates at Buddhists with the goddess Container, and Hindus with Godess Parvati, divine wife Lord Shiva. On the pass tourists and other pilgrims hang out the Tibetan flags. Once you reach the top pilgrims perform holy offerings and sit down to meditate. Once your steps go down, Parvati-sthal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By the late afternoon you will arrive at Zuthal Puk (the cave of Miracles.

The great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here). Overnight in Zutul Phuk.

Zutul Phuk - Purang And To Hilsa:

This morning, after a short trek (2 hrs), drive to Hilsa / Purang. Note: Overnight stay would be in Hilsa

or Purang depending upon the weather. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Hilsa / Purang – Simikot – Nepalgunj - Kathmandu:

Early morning, drive to the airport in Hilsa / Purang for your flight to Simikot. On arrival in Simikot board

your flight to Nepalgunj on arrival in Nepalgunj check in at the hotel.

Nepalgunj - Kathmandu:

 After breakfast transfer to Nepalgunj airport for your flight to Kathmandu On arrival at Airport in Kathmandu, get transferred to your hotel & day spen at leisure to explore own.

Kathmandu – Onward Destination:

 Final departure: You will be picked up from your hotel on time and transfer to airport for your onward destination.
